Should the laws be changed for Abortion??

We give the death penalty for killing "innocent" adults, but does (or should) the same rights be extended to unborn children? If we kill a child after it's born, we call it murder, why do we call it by a different name before the child is born? Is it right?

such a good question...so many different answers...pro life vs pro choice...radicals on both sides of the coin...government balances somewhere in the middle...is it a government issue? a moral issue?...who determines the morality of the issue?...who owns the womans body?...I personally today would choose not to have an abortion unless I was raped. I wouldn't hesitate to abort under those conditions...and I would alone have to answer to God for my action. I don't think anyone else could do that for me. Women have been aborting for eons...they used to use exotic herbs...its nothing new...again a moral issue or a legal issue...so many different views on the subject.

That Law alone for years has been based on the religious asset of the Holy Bible.

When it comes to Abortion, Shouldn't the fact that the women may not believe in the written words of people's god?

Then again, should mass murderers that also dont follow that mandated law be prosecuted?

However, in truth the moral of believing in the once rueling god is slowly depreciating from the standardized system we call quality of life. So to be frank, and not john, I think it is safe to say calling killing a parasite isn't considered murder to the atheist that are now ruleing over even god's word.

Keep in mind, people like those that now make the decisions over us all, are looking at the Big picture" in the summery of tax dollars saved from welfare dependant mothers with bastard children.

My personal feelings on it is, if you can't keep your legs crossed, then suffer the repercussions.

When I posted this, I was comparing and contrasting this mentally. Isn't it weird how society says an eye for an eye when it comes to a human being that can stand beside us and we can talk with. By the same token, society's view is much different regarding pregnancy. Shouldn't we be asking ourselves what makes us human?

At what point is the "parasite" growing inside a woman considered a human being, as one of us, and what point is it not?

When does it change from just being a parasite to a "baby" in our perception?

Is our view of the world (paradigm) shifting and changing?

Lets face the true reality in the integrity of the moral that has changed in the passed 80 or so years. Each generation that has come, and is still growing has fallen deeper into more of a sociopathic mentality, with few feelings of guilt, sorrow, remorse etc. Each generation falls under being more subjected to doing a criminal unjust against another human being without any emotion of wrong doing. In many cases, that unjust can be under the law, legal regardless to any standard(s) we once knew, or grew up with. Alot of older generations still harbor guilt, and when they did something wrong, a pain of anxiety haunted them until it was confronted. The newer generations may harbor it the second the mistake happens, but long forgotten later.

Once upon a time, those types were handfuls in society, and in the end most of which felt some sort of remorse, Now those types of mentality is a percentile that continues to plague our society. Soon enough the percentage may over take the human race as we know it. It is said those types are already in the legal systems, in the leadership chairs, and more less trying to rewrite the emotional/medical reasoning of humanity. (also known as liberals)

Its in their nature to ask for an inch, when rewarded, take the extra mile. The downfall of our society is having absolutely no repercussions of our acts of dysfunction. Its not an eye for eye anymore, it is only a chance for discussion of loopholes to justify.

lets show some examples.

Legal child porn in the act of art and/or expression of nudity (nudist act 1990s)- namely exposure of nude children now justified, when it once was punishable by life in prison.(government funded/supported)

Beastiality now legal in 46 states, once was punishable by death/imprisonment. now justified in the act of culture, and labeled not inhumane.

Criminal acts such as robbery/burglary once gave you years in prison, now most states have point systems, where the criminal can perform the criminal act up to if not more then 4 times before being considered a hibitual offender, then will they see some hard time (usually a term of 5 years.

Criminal acts of murder, Once would grant you life in prison, or even the death penalty. Now with new developments of justified murder, people can and do walk free after terms of 18 months. If found in cold blood and wasn't sent to death, usually find freedom within 20 years or less. (depends on the actual events of the murder)

Criminal acts of drug use/sales Once would land a criminal in jail for terms of 18 mos on first offenders. Now rap sheets as long as 10 plus offenses can be discovered on such criminals before any type of prison term action is taken, which averages based on quantity (state/federal) differs.

Abortion although practice throughout history, was punishable by immediately death or imprisonment. Now with the pro-choice efforts, they almost have drive through abortion clinics.

With that said, society's newest "higher power" (man now not a deity) It seems the changes are based on the sicknesses and unmoral ethics of people that basically condole the acts of perverse natures. I have personally seen the videos of abortion, it is a sickening site to see. And if it doesn't reach out and touch you in some guilt felt way, then It among many other things will never do so. So for the pro-choicers, and officials that have seen those videos that have no emotional reactions to them, never will, and prob don't among seeing any other insane acts of man. And as you can see, they seem to out number those that still have a heart.

Should the law be changed? Sure...will it? from the looks of things, it may only get worse.

Being a woman I can only say that if I was raped or had been sexually abused by a parent or some other family member that resulted in a pregnancy I would want the option to abort open to me. I think the only other time it is okay to do it is if something is seriously wrong with the baby or it puts both the mother and child at risk to continue with the pregnancy. I don't however think it should be used as a form of birth control for people who are promiscuous and deliberately don't use protection to avoid getting pregnant. They should have to deal with the consequences and face responsible for their actions or lack thereof.

Some people believe in the philosophy of rules are meant to be broken. I wonder even if the laws were changed, what effect, if any it would have?

Hell, when alchohol was illegal during the prohibition, people just made their own. I know that the two issues are at oppisite ends as far as issues go, but surely you could see the point in that [img]cool.gif[/img]

I have a feeling that if things get worse as you predict, it's definitely going to be a bumpy ride for sure [img]smile.gif[/img]

And if abortion is made illegal, you will have kids cramming coathangers up their twats to kill the very fear that drives them to the drive through clinics.

within the minds all together. But we as humans evade that, trying to focus on science alone...the new diety, also known as the mind of man.

There isn't any at this point, thats why everything is in turmoil. No matter how superior we view ourselves compared to mother nature, she doesn't seem far behind to put us back in our place where we belong. Everything has a price, but what price are we willing to pay?
